Pet Health Hub
Our Pet Health Hub was launched thanks to player support in 2018. Since then, we’ve built engaging, informative content to help owners keep their pets happy and healthy.
As the country turned to the internet for everything from shopping to home schooling, the Pet Health Hub became a valuable resource for pet owners searching for answers. Visitor numbers grew from an average of 43,000 a month in 2019 to 235,000 a month in 2020; reaching a milestone 3 million unique users by the end of 2020.
Fear and uncertainty about Covid-19 meant questions were being asked about the possible effects on our four-legged friends, so the Hub provided trusted, evidence-based advice and reassurance for pet owners. This included building a ‘Coronavirus and Covid-19 in pets' page, with Q&As and advice on the virus. It became an essential resource for owners, and the media, being accessed by over 94,000 people throughout the year.

We also added other useful content such as pet first aid advice, to help owners take care of minor injuries and better judge when veterinary treatment might be needed. In total the Hub now contains over 270 articles, which assist owners to learn more about conditions from Alabama rot to vaccines.
