Throughout 2021 player support covered the cost of all Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) painkillers which are used daily in our Pet Hospitals. 

This vital medication is used by our vets to relieve pain in emergency situations, such as when a pet that has been hit by a car or suffered an injury, as well as for pets suffering from chronic conditions such as arthritis.

Thanks to the generosity of players of People’s Postcode Lottery, we were able to relieve the pain of over 100,000 pets in 2021, preventing suffering and making a significant difference to the welfare of pets up and down the country.
