Dogs in heat/Dogs coming into season
A heat (or season) is when a female dog is fertile and can become pregnant. During a heat, it’s likely that your dog will behave differently, bleed from her vulva, and become very interested in male dogs.

Zak
Border Collie Zak received the PDSA Order of Merit in July 2022 for his lifetime service as a Search and Rescue Dog.

Abyssinian cat
Although the Abyssinian is an active cat with lots of energy, they are an easy breed to care for. They will happily entertain themselves with their toys but do enjoy interaction with humans too.

Bengal cats
Bengals are highly intelligent and energetic and require plenty of mental stimulation and opportunity to exercise.

Birman
Birmans usually adore being around people and will happily follow you round the house to see what you are doing.

British Longhair cat
The British Longhair cat is known to be a fairly inactive breed that’s prone to laziness. They can be tolerant of other pets but are not so happy to share the house with other cats

British Shorthair cats
The British Shorthair cat is normally a fairly relaxed, inactive breed prone to laziness; they shouldn’t need daily brushing due to their coat length unless it is moulting season.

Cornish Rex
The Cornish Rex is an active cat always on the move; they will often happily play on their own if no one is able to play with them. You won’t often hear the Cornish Rex as they tend not to vocalise.

Devon Rex
The Devon Rex is a mischievous and highly active breed of cat. They love playing and want to know what you are doing all the time so they may become your shadow.
