Gillingham PDSA Pet Hospital FAQs

Can I register my pet at PDSA Gillingham Pet Hospital?

Yes, from Monday 27th March 2023 we will be accepting new registrations at Gillingham Pet Hospital.

Which postcodes does this relate to?

DA3, DA4, DA9, DA10, DA11, DA12 and DA13.

I live in one of these postcodes – can I now register at Gillingham PH?

Yes, you can now register all of your pets at Gillingham PDSA Pet Hospital.

Why are you changing the location I need to go to?

There is currently a nationwide shortage of vets in the UK. This has been affecting our Gillingham PDSA Pet Hospital, but we have now managed to recruit further personnel in order to allow us to take on new clients and pets.

My pet is currently registered at Thamesmead but does not have an ongoing condition – what should I do?

The next time that your pet is sick or needs preventive care you should contact Gillingham PDSA Pet Hospital for an appointment at that location and your registration will automatically transfer.

My pet is currently registered at Thamesmead but does have an ongoing condition that is currently being treated at Thamesmead – what should I do?

If your pet is currently having treatment for an ongoing condition you should continue to attend Thamesmead Pet Hospital until that treatment course is completed or until you renew your registration, whichever happens first. At the point at which your registration expires, even if your pet is still receiving treatment, you should transfer back to Gillingham PDSA Pet Hospital.

How do I request an appointment at Gillingham PH?

Routine appointments need to be requested online at: www.pdsa.org.uk/callback

Please note if your pet has an emergency, you can phone the Pet Hospital who will advise appropriately.

Can I get a vaccination and other preventive services from Gillingham PH?
