Local heroes – Pet Care Scheme practices
PDSA provides free and low cost veterinary care to the pets of people in need through our 48 Pet Hospitals. Helping around 430,000 pets a year – who, without our services, would go without essential treatment.
In communities where we do not have a PDSA Pet Hospital, we work with private veterinary practices, our local heroes, to deliver a discounted service – the PDSA Pet Care Scheme.
Over 190 practices have helped 2,500 vulnerable pets in their hour of need. Pets whose owners are elderly, vulnerable, on low income or have fallen on hard times due to the pandemic. But with your support can help many more pets in need.
