Every PDSA shop needs an amazing team of volunteers to make it a success and we’re on the lookout for people to join us.

Our shops raise funds to support our 48 pet hospitals and increase awareness of the work we do to get the nation PetWise.

With some roles, you may have the opportunity to become a Lead Volunteer or to gain a nationally recognised qualification (NVQ). Lead Volunteers are trained in all aspects of running the shop and can deputise for the manager, so this is a fantastic opportunity that would really enhance your CV.

There are many different ways you can help and even a couple of hours a week will make a difference.

The Role

If you enjoy driving, love meeting new people and have a few spare hours each week, this volunteering opportunity could be exactly what you're looking for.

What will you be doing?

As a volunteer driver assistant, you will be representing PDSA, supporting volunteer drivers collecting items from people who have things to donate but are unable to bring them into our shop.

What skills do I need?

• Are you able to follow instructions?
• Are you friendly and courteous?
• Are you organised and reliable?
• Are you able to lift and carry bags of donated stock and other items?
