Farewill terms and conditions

  1. PDSA has partnered with Farewill to offer supporters the opportunity to write their Will for free using the service. PDSA will issue the supporter with a voucher code which can be redeemed at check out on Farewill’s website, or over the phone, to cover the cost of a Will (usually £90) or couple’s Will (usually £140).

  2. You will not be able to get a free Will from Farewill unless you agree to their terms and conditions. Points to note include:
  • The online Will-writing service is only available in England and Wales. The telephone Will-writing service is available in England (including Isles of Scilly and Isle of Wight), Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
  • There is no obligation on users of the service to leave a gift to PDSA.
  • Included in this offer you will also receive a free year of unlimited changes to your will from the date of completion.
  • For the online service, you may also choose at check out, to opt-in to make unlimited future changes to your online Will after this free year, at a cost to you of £10 per year. You can choose not to opt-in to this service, in which case you will not be required to enter any payment details at checkout. If opted into this Unlimited Updates service to your online will, you can opt-out at any time before being charged through your “Account”.
  • To update your telephone will after the free year - there may be a separate charge and you’ll need to contact the team to discuss your request.
  • If you need any help or have any questions in regards to this service please contact Farewill by calling 020 8050 2686 or hello@farewill.com. PDSA accepts no responsibility for charges incurred.
  1. This offer covers the cost of a standard individual or couple’s Will written online. If your answers to the questions on Farewill’s website suggest you need a more complex Will they may refer you to their telephone Will-writing service. The cost of this may also be covered by your voucher code, depending on the level of complexity. Farewill will make it clear if there would be any additional cost to you before proceeding. We do not pay any additional costs above what is covered by your voucher code, as this is not cost-effective for the charity. If the costs of writing your Will exceed the sum covered by your voucher you are responsible for the additional amount, please take note of this when you add your voucher at checkout online or are quoted on the phone.

  2. Farewill will write or collate your Will, not PDSA.

  3. The PDSA free Will offer is available for those aged 50 or over.
  4. PDSA reserves the right to amend or withdraw the terms and conditions of this offer at any time.

  5. The free Will writing service is subject to a limited availability.
