Your monthly gift will save lives like Leo’s
Leo is suffering from horrific burns. He became trapped beneath a caravan at his home when it caught alight. He’s scared and in severe pain as he struggles in the flames. Thankfully, a family friend rescues Leo, but his burns are so severe he may not survive. All his family can do is wait.

Leo's story
Two-year-old Bulldog, Leo, was outside his owner’s home, lying under a caravan on the driveway. All of a sudden the caravan caught fire and was quickly engulfed in flames, with poor Leo trapped underneath.
A family friend first noticed the smoke and rushed straight to the house. They found a distressed Leo still trapped. Thankfully, they were able to rescue him from the burning wreckage and call the emergency services to put the blaze out.
Sadly, Leo’s ordeal was far from over. He was taken to their local PDSA Pet Hospital for emergency treatment where the true extend of his injuries was found.
Leo’s burns covered his legs and stomach and the poor pooch had suffered an enormous amount of stress. PDSA vets worked tirelessly on Leo to save his legs – they even had to cut away his paw pads after plastic from the caravan got melted to them.
Leo, and so many more pets like him, need your help to recover. If Leo survives his ordeal and treatment is a success, he’ll need months of ongoing care and support before he’s back on four paws. Please help pets like Leo by making a monthly donation to PDSA.
