Russell, forever our ginger peanut
Russell came into our lives 13 years ago when we stumbled across him quivering at the back of his kennel as a long-stay pound dog at the council rescue shelter.
He was the best decision our family ever made, bringing the most love, laughter and good memories.
He recently became the best “uncle” to our rescue girls, putting up with their mischievous antics with admirable patience (and a few grumbles!)
He’ll leave a huge peanut-shaped hole in our hearts but we’re so lucky to have known and loved him all these years. There’s truly no greater love than the love of a dog
